Atlantic Signal Peltor Comtac V headset with a dual comm capable single downlead (TP-105 5C connector). In my opinion, this is the headset to have if you can only have one. Wear it to the range, wear it in the shop, wear it at work, wear it at the track, wear it in a helicopter. Protect your hearing, maintain situational awareness, and communicate with confidence. You have the option of listening to a separate radio with each ear cup; but only one cable to manage!
The 5C connector is fully compatible with the standard 4C TJ102 plugs that are found on most PTTs and used in most road racing car harnesses. Spacers included to protect the exposed conductor.

This headset and most ComTacs come with a dynamic microphone. 3M part #MT31 or MT33-05R. To use this microphone with a civilian or law enforcement radio (ie. Motorola XPR or APX series radios) you will need an amplified PTT (push to talk module). You can also purchase electret microphones (ie. 3M part MT53N) that will allow you to use a non-amplified PTT.
